Grab a cuppa, put your feet up, and let me introduce myself, Stacey Glen, FibroWarrior Pain Management Practitioner and BEMER® Partner, based near the NEC Birmingham.
Receiving a Fibromyalgia diagnosis in 2006, Arthritis in 2008, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 2012, and then COPD in 2016, I 'lost myself' for a very long eight years between 2010 and 2018.
During this time it became clearer to me that the pain clinic at the hospital were not only becoming more stretched, but I felt they never really believed nor understood much of the physical symptoms I was feeling from one day to the next. Initially handing out the anti-depressants, then the anti-epileptic meds - you know the ones, you quadruple in size over night and crash if you forget just one dose - then the heavy artillery of the anti-inflammatories which you have to take another tablet to protect your gut from damage.
So, I asked myself just one question "do I want to lay down and die, or get up and fight for better days?" Clearly I decided for the latter, as I realised that I was and still am the only one who can make a difference to my own life and a long journey began to better understand fibromyalgia and other chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, COPD in its various guises, the human body and the brain. Leading me on to try many things over the years to help me live with less pain.
After much trial and error I have finally found what works for me to enable me to effectively manage my pain and fatigue and to live my life without limits - well compared to previously at least.
BEMER® Therapy became a part of my pain management journey in 2019, albeit with a very sceptical start, I have not looked back and continue to manage my pain better than ever before when I combine it with daily routine, pacing, activities, and practices. And then I was offered the opportunity to become a BEMER® Partner, to be able to spread this message far and wide, to be officially trained to use BEMER®, an FDA Approved Medical Device, to administer to others and to help others on their journey to better health.
Knowing my personal experience of Fibromyalgia in particular combined with the lack of knowledge and understanding within the medical world I have since gone on to retrain as a pain management practitioner in 2020, followed by another year of building, to be able to bring to you Rolling with The Glen - Chronic Pain Management Clinic.
The doors are now open to a pain clinic by a chronic pain warrior for chronic pain warriors. Professionally sharing my knowledge, experience, and expertise of what is so often misunderstood or even dismissed by many. Where you can have a BEMER® Therapy Session and explore the range of products to support your journey to freedom from pain. I am not able to 'cure' you but I can help you and I do this while continuing my own chronic pain management journey.
Get in touch to book your first BEMER® Therapy Session TODAY, and roll with me, Stacey, to stretch those limits together!
Gentle hugs xx

Bone fractures go through four main stages of healing and repair, which can take anything from a few weeks to a few months to heal, depending on the site of the injury. First blood clot is formed at the break before a fibrocartilaginous callus forms, which becomes a bony callus for the remodelling and addition of compact bone for the completion of the healing process...
Fatigue is not being tired, fatigue is being so totally and utterly exhausted that when your head finally hits the pillow - BAM - wide awake! If you do get some sleep, waking in the morning does not give you that "I've had a great night sleep and am ready for the day" feeling. Fatigue can be relentless and take you on a cat and mouse run chasing after sleep, which only makes things worse...
Fibromyalgia is a debilitating, demoralising, and dehumanising, condition characterised by widespread pain and fatigue. Sprains can happen in any muscle but more commonly in the ankle, due to mis-footing when moving around, causing the muscle to overstretch and/or twist.
