About Us

My Story in a Nutshell

Having worked in social, not for profit, roles for almost 20 years, I took redundancy in 2010 and unfortunately found it extremely difficult to obtain employment after that, most of which I attribute to my health for many reasons, mostly relating to the preconceptions of prospective employers.  I have fibromyalgia, diagnosed in 2006, and walk with an elbow crutch, a walking stick back in those days though.

After some major life changing events I realised that I have so much more to give and I have been searching for a role, which not only am I passionate about but one that I am able to undertake with the restrictions which my health conditions place upon me on a day to day basis.

When the opportunity arises!

Fast forward to 2018; along came an opportunity that not only fits with my circumstances but one which has also enabled me to make a difference to the lives of the people I am meeting everyday.   I am able to work at my own pace, in a location of my choosing and never have to phone the boss to ask for a day off when in chronic pain from fibromyalgia!

Does any of this sound like you?

I am passionate about helping others to achieve their dreams and goals, where the possibilities are as huge as you desire!

Why "rolling with The Glen"?

Roll with me!

Learning to live with chronic pain takes a special type of courage, strength, and motivation, as well as a determination to find a way to live your best life at a time when you're not sure whether you call life anything more than an existence and your body, battered by the effects of Fibromyalgia, is nowhere near at its best.  It also takes a lot to come to terms with living life with a chronic illness and a lot slower than you had imagined when you were younger.

Here I will share with you the things which I have combined over the most recent couple of years to improve all aspects of my health from being totally unable to work since being made redundant in 2010, to now running owning my own businesses in addition to helping out at my local church a few hours a week.  All this from being unable to hold my own head up for longer then 30 minutes a couple of years ago!!

Now I want to pay this forward and I'm looking for other people to 'Roll with The [Stacey] Glen' who want to live their best life financially, physically and mentally.
